It is by far the best opening to an X Factor audition ever according to judge Guy Sebastian. 160,000+ YouTube views later, there is no stopping this juggernaut.

Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Powers has finally arrived.

It has only been three days since Philippine-born Andrew Mark Baris, better known as Miss Powers, hit national television with a powerful performance on the X Factor. The judges were stunned as Miss Powers dropped a split and belted James Brown’s “It’s A Man’s World” from the get-go.

The live X Factor audition has since gone viral, shared globally by the Daily Mail UK, Inquirer.net, ABS CBN News and Yahoo. A local Campbelltown newspaper Macarthur Advertiser headlined “She’s got the Power”.

ISOtunes posted Miss Powers’ video 48 hours ago and amassed 85,000+ views. The X Factor Australia YouTube video has 160,000+ views, while the X Factor Australia’s Facebook video post has delivered 88,000+ views and growing.

Judge Adam Lambert said, “Miss Powers, I was surprised. I didn’t know what to expect but that was a big firework of an entry. Your drop split from that first note was like damn! I was really surprised and very entertained. I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us.”

Judge Iggy Azalea, “We’ve seen a lot of performers and this is the most entertained I’ve been all day and I don’t mean that in a gimmicky way at all. I think you truly have a strong vocal and you are great.”

“That was hands down the best opening to any audition I’ve ever seen,” added judge Guy Sebastian.

Seann Miley Moore, a standout Top 10 finalist from the X Factor UK, sent a tweet: “sending you love from LDN!! Slay ate!! #pinoypride.”

The next round of X Factor is split into three categories – the Under-22s, Over-22s and Groups. Guy Sebastian will mentor Miss Powers alongside stable mate Calvin Orosa.

Catch Miss Powers this Sunday October 16 on Seven.
