Noynoy returns to Times Street after break

Apparent president-elect Sen. Benigno “ 3rd has returned to his residence in Quezon City a short vacation in his home province of Tarlac.

Aquino, who continues to lead the May 10 election vote canvassing, had gone on a weeklong before taking on the presidency. The senator said he needed the free time to study and prepare himself for the pressures of ruling the country.

In a television , Aquino refused to discuss his plans for his upcoming proclamation as , sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, is yet to finish its canvassing for president and vice president.

But his exasperation with the slow canvassing, which has been bogged down by debates and legal maneuverings, appeared evident. “At the very latest sana naman by the 15th tapos na ang proseso [At the very latest, hopefully by the 15th the process would be finished],” he said.

Aquino added that that he has invited his youngest sister, celebrity Kris Aquino Yap, and other siblings Viel Aquino Dee, Pinky Aquino Abellada and Ballsy Aquino Cruz to attend his proclamation by Congress.
