When 24 hours in a day become short, many tend to start shortening their time. Unfortunately, this is not a good idea as there are proven benefits to having me-time, even if it’s quiet time while getting your lash extensions. However, one thing is talking about it, and completely another to live it. So, to ensure you manage to catch time to consider time for yourself, we’ve made a list of beauty hacks that save your time. These might help you take some time for yourself and be more efficient, thus still saving time.

You need only three base skincare products 

Cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF are all you need for good skin and beauty routine (unless you have a skin condition – that calls for a dermatologist’s treatment). The first step in the evening and the morning should be a cleanser. You should consider double-cleansing. That is a method where oil and gel cleanser are used to completely clean off all the makeup and dirt of the day.

Moisturizer is also used twice a day, and its purpose is to rehydrate your face. It can have active ingredients like vitamin C, Q10, peptides or others. SPF is a must. Sun rays dry up and damage skin, making you look older and giving you scary issues, you don’t need a professional look.

Good skin condition equals less need for makeup 

The active ingredients in your moisturizer are the ones that can improve your skin condition, and they should be chosen with your specific needs in mind. If you have a few pimples, niacinamide is a good active ingredient. It also prevents oily face. Peptides and collagen are actives that help skin strength and elasticity from the inside – collagen that keeps skin looking young starts breaking down after 25. 

You can add serums that will boost moisturizer, but they are not essential. The point is that your beauty routine helps you feel good and confident in your skin. 

Be regular with your medical appointments

There is no point in feeling beautiful and on the top of your game if you are not healthy. There are three specialists each woman needs to visit once or twice a year: general practitioner, dentist, and gynecologist. GP checks your overall condition, the dentist to keep your smile on, and the gynecologist to ensure you are safe and healthy. Our bodies suffer from stress, and you don’t need to feel bad to look for help.

Lashes and brows frame your face

When you want a clean look, or you are too busy to do your makeup, you can benefit from having your framing face points done. These are your brows, as you already know, and lashes. Whichever procedure you decide on for your brows, you will save time.

When it comes to lashes, lashes extension is your definite way to go. Contrary to what you might have seen on social media, lashes extensions can be done in any style you want – from natural to long and dramatic style. The best part is that you don’t need mascara and your eyes always attract attention. 

Repurpose makeup 

You certainly know that our mothers and grandmas used lipstick as a blush, but have you considered other doubles? Highlighter is a perfect eyeshadow, especially for the eye corner makes you look more awake. The best shade of bronzer for you is the best nude transition colour for eyeshadow, whether you want a small shadow or you are starting to build a smokey eye. Lastly, mix moisturizer with the foundation to get that perfect natural look and skin glow for the day.

Shower oil and Vaseline for dry skin 

The busy woman doesn’t have time to do time-consuming beauty hacks like lathering layers of creams and lotions, so save time by showering with oil. Thus you will take care of your body skin, just don’t forget to tap the towel to dry. For the harder parts, like your feet, knees and elbows use the regular vaseline in the evening to wake up with the baby skin. The best part is that vaseline can be used as a lip mask or even an overnight face mask for the dry skin people.

Braids for hairstyles 

All of the hair straighteners and curlers are great tools, but if you want to save time, they are not the thing you want to use. To have permanently straight hair, it is best if you do the keratin treatment, and have the professionals give you more time and fewer worries every regular day. For waves, the best ‘tool’ that also saves your hair from tangling up while sleeping in your hands. Braid it in the evening and, depending on the look you want to go for make them looser or tighter. And in the morning – voila!

Refresh with facial mist and dry shampoo 

During your long and busy day, you certainly had the situations when you wanted to freshen up. For the body – antibacterial wipes, deodorant, and a small bottle of your perfume are the ride or die method. For your hair, have a bottle of dry shampoo and hair tie somewhere in the office to switch up your looks and add the volume. And for your face, use a facial mist, preferably with hyaluronic acid for a hydration boost.
