The premiere night of JOWA Night 2022 took place on the eve of the Moomba Festival, which was held in the renowned Level 3, Crown Casino. It was a magnificent night filled with incredible energy, including some of Melbourne’s finest DJs and musicians performing to commemorate a strong sense of love and unity.
After two years of lockdowns, the city reopened, and the Jowa Night drew a gathering of over 600 people. The primary performers of the night included one of Australia’s most gifted singer/songwriters, Mary Van Der Horst, who was an X-Factor Australia superstar a few years ago, and newly created hip-hop group Hiraya Music, which includes Trix, Jancent, and Aldz. The incredible act was backed by well-known International Filipino DJ Manuel, who shared the decks with the innovative and creative DJ Jeffrowz, who had the crowds bouncing throughout the night while singing along to some old school R&B hits!
