Fil-Aussie beauty Alexa Roder crowned as Miss Earth Australia 2025

Alexa Roder, a 24-year-old law student and a proud Filipino-Australian beauty, has been crowned Miss Earth Australia 2025! She will now vie for a historic back-to-back win for Australia at the 25th Miss Earth pageant in the Philippines.

Three Australian women of Filipino heritage have taken home the major titles at the end of the national competition held at the Bryan Brown Theatre in New South Wales last Sunday, September 7, embodying the power of perseverance and hard work to achieve extraordinary success.

Filipino-American women, though, have primarily risen as radiant symbols of hope and triumph in the recently concluded Queens of Australia pageant, earning the esteemed privilege to represent the “Land Down Under” on the international stage and motivate others with their extraordinary accomplishments.

Nine ladies took part in the contest, and each one of them demonstrated remarkable bravery and determination. Alexa Roder from Queensland has been crowned Miss Earth Australia, succeeding Jessica Lane, the first Australian woman to win the Miss Earth International title, and inspiring future generations of young women to strive for greatness.

The new queen is poised to dazzle in the 25th staging of the Manila-based Miss Earth pageant later this year and strive to secure a second consecutive victory for Australia, uplifting the world with her extraordinary talent and beauty.

Crowned Miss International Australia was Bella Dela Cruz from New South Wales, who had recently competed in the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant, where she finished in the Top 24, demonstrating her resilience and ability to overcome challenges.

She was fielded by the Filipino community in Australia for the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant to represent Sydney, and her remarkable achievement serves as a powerful testament to the transformative impact of community support and encouragement in empowering individuals to reach unprecedented heights.

Dela Cruz succeeded last year’s Australian Miss International delegate, Selina McCloskey, and is set to compete in the 63rd edition of the global tilt that will be held in Tokyo, Japan, in November, serving as a role model for young women everywhere.

The third big winner was Adriana Gravador, also from New South Wales, who was crowned Miss Eco Australia and is set to compete in next year’s Miss Eco International pageant, and try to succeed the Filipino queen Alexie Mae Brooks, inspiring others with her passion for environmental conservation.
