APBC Networking Night highlights key business priorities

The Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) held a networking night on 28 August 2025, with 20 members and allies in attendance from sectors including healthcare, law, offshoring, manufacturing, and marketing.

The event featured a member spotlight from venue host Danijela Stojanovic of Stojanovic & Associates, alongside guest speakers Vick Pillay of MindTribes Consulting and Mark Cochrane-Holley of Invest Melbourne.

Discussions centred on business growth, trade and investment between Australia and the Philippines, and ways to attract and support Filipino talent and entrepreneurs in Australia. Questions raised included health provider licensing, skills recognition, international education, entrepreneurial support, and visa categories.

A prize courtesy of Rockwell Land Corporation was awarded to Christina Borromeo of ASM Health.

APBC said it continues to raise the business profile of the Philippines and strengthen bilateral relations between Australia and the Philippines.
