Australia Philippines Business Council Celebrates 50 Years of Bilateral Partnership

The Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) marked its 50th Anniversary with a milestone celebration on 20 November 2025 at Doltone House Hyde Park, Sydney, bringing together dignitaries, industry leaders, business owners, and community representatives.

Hosted by the dynamic Brian Lorenz, the evening highlighted the Philippines’ upcoming role as Chair of ASEAN, a significant moment that reflects the nation’s growing regional leadership and the continued importance of Australia–Philippines cooperation.

One of the major features of the night was the introduction of Manila Town in Doonside, NSW, the event’s Principal Sponsor. Presented by Stephen Guo and Ramon Ramajo, the project showcased an ambitious vision for enhanced cultural and commercial connectivity between Australia and the Philippines.
