Australian property leaders honoured at 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards

Australia’s finest developers and projects were celebrated at the prestigious 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) 2025, held for the first time in Sydney at the Shangri-La. Supported by Sub-Zero and Wolf, the gala recognised excellence across 20 categories, highlighting projects with both domestic and cross-border appeal.

Eterno Property Group leads with six wins

Eterno Property Group emerged as the most awarded company of the night, claiming six titles including Best Developer. Its flagship project The Newlands won two golden statuettes, including Best Apartment Development (Australia). The company was also recognised for Ode Double Bay, Munro House, and the design of its own head office.

Rising stars and breakthroughs

Kuber Projects won Best Breakthrough Developer, along with awards for Kuber Villas, Mandurah and Kuber Villas, Golden Bay.

Skyland Group took home Best Luxury Developer (New South Wales) for Eliza Darling Point. Its managing partner, Travis Su, received the inaugural Rising Star award for promoting sustainable luxury living.

Real Estate Personality of the Year

Dr. Bay Yeo, founder and group managing director of Exal Group, was named Real Estate Personality of the Year. He was commended for community-focused projects, particularly innovative student housing initiatives blending engineering with sustainability.

Other award highlights included:

  • Best Luxury Apartment Architectural Design (Queensland): Glam by YHY Group
  • Best Oceanview Apartment Development: Eve Residences by Homecorp
  • Best Nature Integrated Development: The Newlands by Eterno Property Group
  • Best Waterfront Developments: The Dunes, Scarborough by Edge Visionary Living and Wanda View by 16MC Developments.

Industry remarks

Jules Kay, General Manager of PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and Events, praised winners for “setting new benchmarks for liveability” and showcasing Australia as a prime location for both homes and investments.

Ivan Lam, Chairperson of the Awards and Executive Director for International Business at Charter Keck Cramer, highlighted the winners’ role in “catering to the modern property seeker’s desire for connectivity, central locations, and natural beauty.”

Looking ahead

Top winners will represent Australia at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final in Bangkok on 12 December 2025, competing against the region’s finest.
