Cebu Pacific offers cracking deals to mark 10 years flying to Australia

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading airline, has unveiled some amazing deals to celebrate the airline’s 10th anniversary of flying to Australia with prices from as low as $199* one-way all-in ex Melbourne to Manila and from $209* one-way all-in ex Sydney to Manila.

The deals are part of the airline’s September Seat Sale designed to entice more travellers to visit what is fast becoming one of the top destinations for Aussies in Southeast Asia.

Cebu Pacific, established in 1996 and now regarded as one of the leading low cost carriers in the world, launched its Australian services in September 2014 and currently offers 5 flights a week to Sydney and three flights a week to Melbourne.

More flights to the Philippines

In a major boost to capacity on the Australia-Philippines route, Cebu will move to daily services ex-Sydney from 1 December and increase to 4 services a week ex-Melbourne from 23 November.

“We are so pleased to offer these great deals to Australian travellers for the upcoming summer season, as we also announce increases in our services from our two key ports of Sydney and Melbourne,” said  Michelle De Guzman, Cebu Pacific Director for Marketing. “The Philippines is like a hidden gem for Australians, but is now generating increased interest among local travellers as they become more aware of what our 7000-island archipelago offers.”

The Philippines is blessed with some of the most beautiful islands on the planet, is recognised as a geographic centre of marine biodiversity and offers fabulous sites for diving, boating, swimming and exploration with over half of all known coral reefs in the world.

There are also picturesque mountains and trails for hiking. Travellers can take advantage of Cebu Pacific’s extensive domestic network to fly to 35 destinations once they arrive in Manila.

Additionally, Cebu Pacific boasts one of the youngest fleets in the world (average age of six years) with a 85-strong commercial fleet of 70 Airbus and 15 ATR aircraft.
