Celebrate Rizal Day 2021 at the Filipino Hub in Melbourne

An event to celebrate the 125th Jose Rizal Day will be held on Monday, December 27 at the FCCVI Filipino Hub – 10/463a Somerville Rd., Brooklyn, Victoria from 10am to 4pm.

Filipinos from around Victoria are welcome to attend. Entrance is free but booking is necessary because of limited capacity.

There will be a few marquees for food sellers, presentations, speeches and messages from Consul General Lourdes Salcedo, Ambassador Hellen de la Vega, Knights of Rizal and relatives of Dr. Jose Rizal.

Like the last two years, the event will be livestreamed through Pinoy Ako Pinoy Tayo (PAPT) program which will make it possible for participants from overseas to join the celebration. Arlan Fajardo of PAPT will also be the Master of Ceremonies of the event, along with Maria Kate.

A bust of the Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal arrived in Melbourne from Perth recently in time for the upcoming third annual celebration of Rizal Day in Victoria.
