Five stars from Drag Race Philippines Season 1 are set to take centre stage in Melbourne and Sydney on 24 February and 1 March, respectively.
Mabuhey! Australia will showcase the brilliance of Precious Paula Nicole, the charismatic allure of Gigi Era, the sassy performances of Brigiding, the freshness of Minty Fresh and the magical presence of Lady Morgana.
The enchanting world of Mabuhey Australia! marks an historic milestone. The excellence of Filipino drag will be brought Down Under in what is described to be not only a drag show, but also a cultural celebration. According to the producer House of Era, attendees can expect explosive performances highlighting Filipino talent and excellence with a lot of fun, glamour and laughter.
Melbourne-based Filipino drag performer Gigi Era was one of the Drag Race Philippines Season participants and proudly shares her passion and inspiration for performing in drag. “From the transformative power of makeup and the energetic dance performances to the vibrant costumes and visuals, drag allows me to step into a colourful fantasy persona, offering joyful escape from everyday life,” says Gigi.
“It is a joyful celebration of self-expression, creativity, and the freedom to embrace a larger-than-life identity for a day.”
