FedEx volunteers help instill environmental awareness to Gawad Kalinga children during a trip to the Avilon Zoo in Rizal.
Employees of FedEx Express (FedEx) recently led children from a Gawad Kalinga (GK) community on an eco tour to rediscover wildlife and the importance of environmental conservation at the Avilon Zoo in Rodriguez, Rizal.
From the GK community in Multinational Village, Parañaque, FedEx volunteers brought the children on an educational tour of the zoo, one of Southeast Asia’s largest conservatories of wildlife with over 3,000 specimens of exotic and endemic plants and animals.
