JoRox and the whole Hoy Love You family are back for Hoy Love You Two. After tackling second chance at love, this time, the show deals with blended families. Joining them for the second season are Lou Veloso, Hasna Cabral and Ritz Azul.
Ritz will be bringing the “spice” this season by stirring trouble with the newlyweds’ lives. Meanwhile, we will see more of the other characters’ stories, like the brewing romance between young love team Aljon and Karina. Being a bigger family means bigger storylines for everyone in the show, and they couldn’t be more excited. Karina shared that she is grateful to have a lolo in the show, played by Lou Veloso. This addition is very close to her heart since her grandmother raised her in real life.
The whole cast has expressed their eagerness to have a second season since they wrapped up season one. The entire cast and crew had a 10-day locked-in taping at Lobo, Batangas. Some of the behind-the-scenes footage and room tours are available online, and you can see how they have bonded. During their mediacon, they even mentioned doing prayer meetings every Friday.
Their director Theodore Boborol said that part of the success of the show has the right cast. He said that everyone was proactive and passionate about the show. He even shared that Joross has brainstormed with the creatives for this season and that the accident encountered by Aljon’s character in episode 1 was Joross’ idea.
The support that JoRox has been receiving after all these years is overwhelming, according to Roxanne. She said that she is happy that her team up with Joross still works. She shared that the on-screen chemistry is due to their maintained friendship and respect for each other. Joross, on the other hand, said that it is also due to the boundaries they’ve set and being professional all the time.
Unsurprisingly, they are keeping their fingers crossed for a third season. But in the meantime, you can watch Hoy Love You Two on iWantTFC. The first episode drops on September 11, with new episodes being uploaded weekly.
