Liza Di Blasio is new FCCVI President

The Filipino Community Council of Victoria, Incorporated welcomes 2023 with a new President.

Following the resignation of former FCCVI President Marlon De Leon, Vice President Liza Di Blasio has taken over the helm of FCCVI’s Executive Committee.

“My goal as the New President is to maintain and further the unity of the Philippine community in Melbourne”, Ms. Di Blasio says. “We must ensure that we help those who need a helping hand, that we live harmoniously with each other despite any differences between us, and that we deal with each other respectfully and with kindness.”

Ms. Di Blasio hails from Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, with a major in Management. She completed her Australian diploma in Business Administration in 2017, and currently works full time as Supply Chain Administrative Officer with a local engineering company.

Before being elected as Vice President in 2021, Liza also previously served as Assistant Treasurer of FCCVI.

She is the founder and current President of Give Love, Incorporated, and is an avid supporter of major Filipino charity projects. Aside from having been Chairperson of the Filipino Fiesta Beauty Quest in 2012, she was also Miss Le’ Oscars Charity Winner for 2015, and previously served as WU Promotional Manager in Victoria.
