Artist Joel Magpayo or Ka Joel, resident cartoonist of The Philippine Times, will present a selection of his work from 
solo and rotary shows from the past 20 years in an exhibit titled Painter as Printmaker. The show will open on 22 November and will run until 19 January 2014 at the Boadle Hall, Incinerator Gallery, 180 Holmes Road, Moonee Ponds.

Ka Joel’s work was recently cited in the 2nd Multicultural Media Awards (MMA) as Best Editorial Cartoon. The MMA, which was inaugurated last year, is chaired by Hon Shaoquett Moselmane MLC, member of the NSW Legislative Council.
