Felino Dolloso’s Trumpet Player Series: Finding Oneself in a Crowd

Filipino-Australian actor Felino Dolloso has come up with a fresh project titled ‘Trumpet Player Series,’ set to hit YouTube this November 2023. This series unfolds the tale of someone standing at life’s crossroads, questioning their career choices.

The story resonates with the feeling of being new and lost in a place where no one seems to know one another. It paints a vivid picture of a busy place where people almost bump into each other but don’t really notice anyone around. It’s a place where everyone feels like a stranger.

This isn’t a big studio production but an independent one, filmed entirely in Sydney. The filming stretched over a year due to scheduling issues, COVID-19, and the availability of both Felino Dolloso and cinematographer Ferry Lie. Despite these challenges, the duo, driven by their passion, managed to wrap up the project.

The series is a result of Dolloso and Lie’s desire to work together again. With their days packed with other work, they filmed ‘Trumpet Player Series’ mainly during late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Dolloso crafted the story while Lie brought it to life through his camera work.

Felino Dolloso stars as the main character, with talented young Filipino-Australian actors Sophia and Aaryan playing crucial roles. Dolloso also directed the series, making it a significant project for him.
