ACME holds 2nd business meeting for entrepreneurs

The Australian Council of Multicultural Entrepreneurs (ACME) held its 2nd Quarter Business meeting for entrepreneurs last 5 April 2018 at the Bayview on the Park Hotel in Queens Road. The meeting was formally opened by Jopen Quintero, ACME President who discussed the importance of OPEN in businesses. OPEN stands for Opportunity, Promotion, Education and Networking. Focusing on the four elements will surely propel one’s business to success, she said.

Guest speakers

Cyril Paiva, Team Leader of the Business Development and Relationships of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), discussed the services and programs of VCCI to the public and its members. When plans push through, ACME members will get 50 percent discount to the VCCI membership. Annual membership is at $1,200. Some of VCCI’s services are: internship program, support in government grants and programs, apprenticeship support and business operations support, among other things.

Kim Woo, Relationship Consultant of VCCI, also discussed their business tour group to various countries such as China where business owners can benefit most not only from networking but securing business deals.

Meanwhile, Marion and Ekkehart Mundana from The Redox Breakthrough discussed the company’s anti-ageing, health and wellness under the technology and the business model. There is great opportunity to add Redox’s services to one’s business for additional cash flow.

The new Redox technology carries a list of patented products to influence the health and wellness, fitness and beauty industries. They have been actively building their business since late last year and will soon launch its company in the Philippines. They are inviting Filipino individuals and business to take part in the company as it expands its business in the Philippines.

Entertainment

Stifany Chung and Raul Roxas of Roxx-Mixx Duo provided entertainment on the night. The songs they sang were part of their album launch on 5 May 2018 at the Polish Hall in Ardeer. The guests were surprised when VCCI’s Kim Woo joined Roxx-Mixx Duo in rendering “Dahil Sa Iyo” in Filipino and English. The Malaysian-born said he simply loves the song hence he learned and practised the Filipino and English version of the “Dahil sa Iyo”.
