Community Engagement Program “Healthy Lunches@Living and Learning Pakenham”

The Community Engagement Program “Healthy Lunches@Living and Learning Pakenham” has been well received by Cardinia residents and students.

Every fortnight, the Australian Filipino Community Services (AFCS) Team Ied by Josie Forteza and assisted by volunteers prepare simple meals where some of the fresh produce were harvested from the Pakenham Community Garden.

“Its great to see the Community share meals together, meet new friends and enjoy our produce,” Miriam Cadwallader, CEO of Living and Learning Pakenham said.

This Program has been initiated by the AFCS with funding from Cardinia Shire.
