Australian BPO expands operations

An Australian debt management firm has expanded its back office operations in the Philippines to accommodate more clients.

National Receivables Group (NRG) Global Solutions Pty Ltd.’s local subsidiary, NRG Global Solutions Philippines Inc., has inaugurated a 150-seat contact center in Eastwood, Quezon City.

This call center would service companies from the Australian banking, financial services and telecommunications sectors.

“The company has gone through measured growth from its Brisbane-based call center, opening with only five seats at a Manila business process outsourcing center in August 2008. We are excited with this new phase of growth in the company, as it exponentially increases our presence from five seats to 150 seats,” Laurence Barlow, NRG chairman, said.
