Cebu Pacific opens heated beach bar at Bondi Festival, offers low fares to the Philippines

Fly to Manila for as low as AUD 269 one-way until 31 July

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading low-cost airline, is bringing a taste of home to Bondi Beach this winter with a one-of-a-kind heated beach bar as part of the 2025 Bondi Festival.

The Cebu Pacific Travel Beach Bar is designed to offer festivalgoers a warm and vibrant experience that evokes the tropical spirit of the Philippines. Surrounded by standing heaters and inspired by the traditional bahay kubo (nipa hut), the space features music, Filipino food curated by Darlinghurst restaurant Takam, and island-themed decor.

Open until 20 July 2025, the beach bar marks the first time an airline has become an official partner of the Bondi Festival.

To coincide with the event, Cebu Pacific is offering one-way all-in fares from Australia to Manila for as low as AUD 269. The promotion runs until 31 July 2025, for travel between 1 August and 31 December 2025 – perfect for those planning Christmas or summer holidays back home.

Cebu Pacific currently operates daily flights between Manila and Sydney, and four weekly flights from Melbourne. From Manila, passengers can connect to 27 other destinations across the Philippines, including popular spots like Palawan, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo.

Travellers can explore:

  • Palawan’s limestone cliffs and the Underground River in Puerto Princesa
  • Coron’s diving spots and El Nido’s beach islands
  • Cebu’s Sinulog Festival and Davao’s Kadayawan
  • Iloilo’s rich culinary heritage—from La Paz Batchoy to Pancit Molo and biscocho

With its wide domestic network and affordable fares, Cebu Pacific invites Australians to explore the Philippines in their own way.

The airline has flown over 250 million passengers since its launch and currently serves 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
