Dr Edgar Zosa Lagrito passed away on 23 March 2019 at the age of 77. He was born on 19 August 1941.

Dr Lagrito was the founder and long-time President of the Australian Visayan Association of Victoria Inc. (AVAVI).

He organised the popular Sinulog or Feast of Sto Niño in Clayton over 30 years ago. He was one of the most respected leaders of the Filipino community in Victoria.

Viewing

Viewing and Rosary will be recited in the Allison Monkhouse Pioneer Chapel, cnr Springvale Road and Princes Highway, Springvale on Monday, April 1, 2019 commencing at 6.00pm until 9.00pm.

Funeral Mass and Cremation

Funeral Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Dr Lagrito will be offered in St Andrew’s Catholic Church, 76 Springs Road, Clayton South on Tuesday April 2, 2019 at 11.00am.

Following Mass a cremation committal service will be held in the Wilson Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetery, 600 Princes Highway, Springvale arriving at approx 1.15pm.
