When COVID-19 (coronavirus) became a global pandemic in early 2020, countries imposed lockdowns, mandated many protocols including social distancing, wearing of facemasks, washing of hands, and restricted our movements through lockdowns and curfews, feeling stressed and distressed became normal.
For Pinoys, we always get through crises like this by turning to our favourite stress reliever – sharing jokes.
We hope this collection of jokes and memes managed to ease the burden of feeling isolated, losing a job, or fear of being infected by COVID-19.
Now that treatments and vaccination have again allowed us to reconnect with our friends and loved ones, jokes will serve as reminders of how it helped us get through the biggest crisis of our lifetime.
Note: We don’t know who made these jokes, so if you know, please let us know so we can credit them appropriately.

Store safety protocols
My aunt enters a boutique shop to buy a pair of new shoes.
The store is very strict in implementing COVID-19 Safety protocols.
She tells the sales assistant that she wants to buy a new pair of shoes. The sales assistant first washes my aunt’s feet with soap and water, pats and dries it with a towel, then applies sanitizer.
Auntie selects a pair of shoes, tries them on, pays, and starts to leave.
The sales assistant asks her, “Do you need anything else, ma’am?”
My auntie replies, “I also wanted to buy the BRA and PANTIES, but I changed my mind after seeing your service.”
