Cranbourne Fil-Aus Fest 2023: A Celebration of Filipino Culture and Community

The Cranbourne Fil-Aus Fest 2023, a free-entry and free-parking event, was held on September 24, 2023, from 10am to 8pm at the Cranbourne Turf Club in Cranbourne, Victoria. The festival was a celebration of Filipino culture and community and featured a variety of activities and attractions for all ages.

Attendees enjoyed a Filipino food fair, featuring dishes from a variety of authentic Filipino restaurants and food vendors. There was also a business expo, showcasing Filipino-owned businesses from a variety of industries, including property investment and general merchandise.

Other highlights of the festival included live entertainment, cultural performances, and children’s activities. There were also raffle prizes and bingo games given to attendees free of charge. Winners receivied groceries, balikbayan boxes, health products, a trip back to the Philippines and a $5000 credit voucher for household appliances.

The Cranbourne Fil-Aus Fest 2023 was a great opportunity for the local community to come together and celebrate Filipino culture. It was also a great opportunity for Filipino-Australians to showcase their businesses and talents.

The festival was organized by a committee headed by Ed and Obeth Guevarra, Ernie and Sally Manaog, Bernadette, Rommel and Wyngard Espina, and Josie and Willie Sotelo. The organizers would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the event, and they look forward to seeing you again next year!
