It’s Earth Hour, March 28, 2020, 8.30 pm

The Earth Hour 2020 is set on 28 March at 8.30 pm your local time.

Everyone is encouraged to turn off their lights for an hour, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm as a symbolic action to raise awareness about the threats of climate change.

Now under threat, protecting nature as one of our greatest allies against climate change is vital for our survival. Join millions around the world this #EarthHour for the biggest environmental movement of 2020, and switch off on 28 March at 8:30 pm your local time.

Everyone is encouraged to come together to #Connect2Earth and be counted for a healthy natural world. Take the first step at https://www.earthhour.org/voice

The Philippines has also been consistently at the forefront of the campaign and was dubbed as an Earth Hour champion for several years since the campaign was launched in Australia in 2007.

For 13 years now, what started as an Australian initiative has grown into the world’s biggest movement for climate change.

The World Wide Fund for Nature-Philippines, the organiser of Earth Hour in the Philippines, encourages participants to join the event. Visit the WWF-Philippines website for the latest update.
