A popular Filipino Healing Priest by the name of Father Efren Borromeo of the Society of Our Lady of the Trinity (SOLT) is presently in Australia upon the invitation of the Philippine Ambassador Minda Cruz.

Father Momoy as he is fondly called and his assistant Sister Sonia Punzalan, Religious of the Cenacle (a certified teacher of Zen Meditation) are in Sydney and Canberra from April 25 and will be in Melbourne on May 11 – May 18.

Father Momoy’s approach is holistic – he prefers to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and psychologically as he believes these all contribute to the sickness of the individual. Therefore he spends a minimum of 4-5 minutes per person. He would like to give priority to those who are terminally ill, in wheelchairs, elderly and young children who are afflicted with serious injuries or disease. So he would start a Healing Session with 100 of those seriously ill for 4 hours, followed by the Eucharistic Celebration and then another healing session after the Mass for those with aches and pains but not seriously ill.
