The OzAsia Festival in Adelaide is set to return from October 24 to November 10, featuring a diverse lineup of Asian and Asian Australian artists. Among the highlights of this year’s festival is Filipino TikTok sensation Taylor Sheesh, who will perform “The Errors Tour” at the Dunstan Playhouse for two nights.

Known for her impressive choreography and engaging performances, Taylor Sheesh has captured the hearts of Swifties worldwide. Her participation in the festival is a proud moment for the Filipino community, showcasing the growing presence of Filipino talent on an international stage.

Earlier this year, Taylor Sheesh also wowed audiences at FedSquare in Melbourne during the Australia Eras Tour of Taylor Swift in February. Her tribute performances have resonated strongly with fans, capturing the essence and energy of Taylor Swift’s live shows. With her rising popularity and unique stage presence, Taylor Sheesh continues to make a name for herself in the global fan community.

This year’s OzAsia Festival includes over 300 artists from 12 countries, with seven world premieres, four Australian premieres, and nine Adelaide premieres. The event kicks off with the Moon Lantern Trail, a family-friendly display of giant lanterns at Tarntanya Wama/Pinky Flat, featuring performances, workshops, and Asian cuisine from October 24 to 27.

Other notable events include AnimeGO!, a celebration of Japanese pop culture, and the Australian premiere of “A Passage to Bollywood,” featuring choreography by Ashley Lobo. The festival will also present “Scored in Silence” by Chisato Minamimura, which explores the experiences of deaf survivors of the 1945 atomic bombs in Japan.

Artistic and Executive Producer Joon-Yee Kwok expressed enthusiasm for this year’s lineup: “We’re excited to host some of Asia and Australia’s most acclaimed artists. It’s a great opportunity to experience the best of Asian arts and culture.”
