Filos win major beauty titles

Two Filipino-Australian beauties won major titles to represent the Philippines and Australia in international pageants.

Nina Robertson, winner of Mutya ng Pilipinas Overseas Communities 2014, won the title Miss Earth Australia on pageant night held on 2 September at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal in NSW. Nina also won the Miss Photogenic special award. She will represent Australia in the Miss Earth pageant to be held on 4 November in the Philippines.

Marian Angelu Perez Alcantara won the highest title as Miss Tourism Philippines World during the coronation night held on 30 July at the Chardonnay by Astoria in Pasig, Philippines. She also won a special award, Miss Lady Grace. Marian will compete in the Miss Tourism World to be held in Melaka, Malaysia.
