FiND Kalinga Project: Spotlight on Global Outreach with ABS CBN Media Interview

In the heart of community empowerment lies a project led by individuals driven by a shared vision. Jayson Catiwa, RN, PhDc, a dedicated project manager, recently had the honor of discussing the innovative FiND Kalinga initiative with ABS CBN, a Philippine-based media outlet with a global reach. Spearheaded by the Filipino Nursing Diaspora Network and bolstered by the support of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Council of Australia (FECCA) small grant program, FiND Kalinga stands as a beacon of collaboration and compassion.

Jayson, in a statement welcoming the opportunity to share FiND Kalinga’s endeavors with ABS CBN Teleradyo’s global audience, emphasized the project’s commitment to fostering positive change. “It’s a privilege to shed light on the transformative impact of FiND Kalinga beyond borders. Our thrust is to bridge communities and cultivate a culture of health and mentorship,” Jayson expressed earnestly.

At its core, FiND Kalinga comprises three integral components, each contributing to its overarching mission. The cultural health championship serves as a platform for celebrating diverse health practices while nurturing cultural pride. Through mentorship programs, FiND Kalinga endeavors to empower individuals, especially the youth, by providing guidance and support in their educational and professional journeys. Additionally, in partnership with SBS Audio, the project introduces a captivating podcast series, amplifying voices and narratives that resonate with the ethos of FiND Kalinga.

The essence of FiND Kalinga lies not only in its objectives but in its ability to unite communities across continents. It transcends geographical boundaries, fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity among individuals from diverse backgrounds. By leveraging media platforms like ABS, FiND Kalinga extends its reach, igniting conversations and inspiring action on a global scale.

As Jayson aptly summarizes, “FiND Kalinga is more than just a project; it’s a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion. Together, we can create meaningful change and empower communities to thrive.” With FiND Kalinga, the journey towards a healthier, more connected world is not merely an aspiration but a tangible reality, fueled by the collective efforts of passionate individuals like Jayson and the unwavering support of organizations committed to making a difference.
