The wait is over for families eager to attend the 2015 Fun4Kids Festival in Warrnambool, Victoria, with tickets opening on May 1.

This year’s festival will be held during the winter school holidays from Sunday June 28 until Saturday July 4.

The event will feature over 80 performances from some of Australia’s best kids’ acts with Lah Lah Live in concert, Hoot and Hootabelle’s Owl Pal Playdate, the nationally touring Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes & Dirty Beasts, Melbourne City Ballet and an array of exciting dance, music, comedy and acrobatics to keep everyone entertained.
This cultural and entertainment spectacular will also include outstanding stage performances of Japanese Taiko Drumming by Wadaiko Rindo, and the colour and energy of African Dance by Asanti Dance Theatre. Both of these will then spill into hands on workshops where children can get up close and personal with the performers and learn their skills.

Popular zones are back including the Fairbrother Build It zone, the Emmanuel College Animal Farm and Sinclair Wilson Tech Kids as well as new zones to explore like the exciting Circus Capers, Epworth Book Nook and Coates Tradies Town.

“Fun4Kids Festival will deliver seven days of wall-to-wall fun for kids aged two to 12” said Festival Director Merran Fyfe.

“We are delighted with the performers and zones we have lined up for this year and we can’t wait for the fun to begin on June 28”.

“It is a strong program that has achieved extraordinary balance between popular well known acts and characters, through to new and upcoming experiences for children that will be completely unexpected.”

“Keeping ticket prices as affordable as possible is very important to us, so we are very pleased to broaden the offering in 2015 and really encourage people to come back over multiple days and enjoy all the elements of this nationally acclaimed festival that happens in the heart of our city,” Ms Fyfe said.

“The 4-Day Explorer pass is a superb option for families looking to spend a few days at the festival and time exploring Warrnambool and the region”.

“They can choose the days that suit them best around work and other commitments and it’s great value for money too as you are effectively paying for three days and getting the fourth for free.

“The 7-Day Super Saver Pass remains the best value and guarantees that you won’t miss out on any of the fun on offer.

“And just like a theme park, it’s one entry fee then all the fun is free.”

There is also a discount for booking tickets online.
