Grand Get-Together of Philippine Schools and Universities’ Alumni Associations

In the spirit of unity and harmony, the Alumni Associations of various Philippine schools and universities are once again getting together for a series of activities in October 2023.

Highlight of the Alumni Extravaganza is the Grand Soirée reunion on 21 October from 6.30pm, to be held at Ambassador Auditorium, West HQ, 33 Railway Street, Rooty Hill, NSWl. It’ll be a fun-filled night with school performances, entertainment and lots of prizes to be won including return tickets to the Philippines courtesy of Philippine Air Lines.  Everyone is welcome to attend and reminisce their school days.  Anyone may represent their school whether or not they have an official alumni association or not.

“It’s shaping up to be a great event with special guests David Michael White, Cleo Diana and the  students of Westside Performing Arts,” said Ms. Benjie de Ubago, UST Alumni Australia President.  “Besides, it’s all in the spirit of harmony and cooperation – we’re better together!” she adds.

The Alumni Extravaganza was initiated last year by the Ateneo Alumni Association of Australia.  This year, UST Alumni Australia is hosting the event.  Eleven schools have signified their participation: Ateneo, UP, Adamson, Mapua, St. Louis, UE, PUP, PCC, Don Bosco, De La Salle and UST.

Alumni associations may also wish to compete in the Golf challenge on 2 October, 2023 at Cattai Golf Resort; at the Bowling challenge on 15 October 2023 at Zone Bowling centre at Rooty Hill. Players may compete as a team (4 players to a team) or in an individual capacity to represent their school.

Sponsors for the event include:  Megaworld International, real estate developers in the Philippines; Western Union for money transfers to the Philippines; and Philippine Air Lines who are providing four return tickets to the Philippines to be raffled and drawn at the Grand soirée on 21 October 2023.
