IDP Education opens doors to new student services centre in Adelaide, offering computer-delivered IELTS

IDP Education has officially opened its newly relocated student services centre in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, which will offer computer-delivered IELTS testing in South Australia for the first time.

The revamped centre offers students and IELTS test takers the opportunity to discover South Australia’s world-class education options, access to a range of support services, and the chance to meet other students and make new friends.

A purpose-built IDP IELTS test centre is also located at the centre, completing a central space that offers students both education support and the ability to prepare and take the computer-delivered IELTS test under the one roof.
Adelaide is the second city in Australia to offer computer-delivered IELTS, following Melbourne, which launched in December 2017. This advancement in IELTS delivery provides students with more choice, more frequent test dates and a faster turnaround of results within 5–7 days.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Andrew Barkla said the centre supports the company’s vision to create a connected community and global platform for international students.

“As a leader in the international education services space, IDP Education is committed to supporting and empowering our customers at every step of their international education journey, especially when they arrive in a new city.

“The Adelaide office is a welcome space where international students and test takers can gather for trusted advice, access the services they need and to connect with other people who will help them achieve their global goals,” Mr Barkla said.

The IDP Education student services centre is located at 16 Grenfell Street, Adelaide and is open Monday to Friday from 10:00am – 5:30pm.
