Kalibo Sto Niño Ati-Atihan Festival

Vladimir Echalas from Kalibo, Aklan shares some of his photos from the Kalibo Sto Niño Ati Atihan Festival held 19 January 2014. According to the Kalibo Sto Niño Ati Atihan Foundation website, “Ati-Atihan is a season for Kalibonhons and Akeanons together with guests to witness local ingenuity as the participating Ati tribes, in their colourful costumes, flock the major streets of Kalibo, dancing to the thunderous beat of the drums, and shouting with enthusiasm the chant ‘Viva kay Senior Sto Niño!'”
