Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla love team back in ‘Too Good To Be True’ on Netflix

One of the country’s hottest love teams has finally made their primetime comeback after four years – KathNiel is back with their latest offering 2G2BT (Too Good To Be True), directed by Mae Cruz Alviar and Paco Sta. Maria.

The series, which is a first in the Philippines, will air in Netflix 72 hours before the Philippine release. It can also be viewed on iWantTFC and on several local channels in the Philippines.

Direk Mae shared that she felt several emotions simultaneously – excited, grateful and nervous when she found out that they will air on Netflix. They have already been working on the preproduction for more than a year on the project when they were given the news.

Kathryn is honoured and grateful to be given an opportunity to be part of this project. She added that it hopefully opens more doors to other Filipino shows, but more importantly that the show can give hope and joy to Filipinos overseas by bringing a bit of the Philippines to them.

Daniel said that he is happy that the show will be available internationally, as it is a way to share Filipino culture and values.  He hopes that it reaches more Filipinos overseas so that they won’t forget their heritage.

2G2BT is about two people who cross paths and unexpectedly fall in love. According to Direk Mae, who has directed them before in Crazy Beautiful You, you can definitely see their maturity as actors in the way Kathryn and Daniel attack their scenes. She added that you could see the difference and feel their depth and wisdom, which they gained from all their experiences in acting and life.

Apart from their new project, KathNiel is also celebrating their 10th year together as a love team. They said that there is no secret to their longevity apart from respect and teamwork and always helping each other to be better through thick and thin. The reel and real-life couple are also thankful to their supporters for staying on their side while they waited for the right project.

Completing the cast are veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez, former Ms Universe Gloria Diaz, Irma Adlawan, Romnick Sarmenta, Gelli De Belen, Smokey Manoloto, Cris Villanueva, Via Antonio, Bianca De Vera, Pamu Pamorada, Gillian VIcencio, Alyssa Muhlach, Yves Flores, Hyubs Azarcon and Matt Evans.
