One of the loveliest actresses of this time, Lovi Poe is now a certified Kapamilya. The showbiz royalty was given a red carpet welcome and was handed flowers by none other than the ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual.

Lovi shared that she only had four hours of sleep the night before, and compared her feeling to that of a student about to go on a “field trip” the next day. Can’t sleep and very excited. When she stepped into the ABS CBN compound she said that she had butterflies but at the same time she felt at home.

Her first project with the Kapamilya network will be a remake of the Korean series “Flower of Evil” opposite Piolo Pascual. The self-confessed Koreanovela fan shared that it was a dream to do the remake and work alongside Papa P. She said that they met during Dra. Belo’s wedding in Paris and spoke about how they wanted to work together. She never thought it would be a reality after all these years.

The actress shared that moving was one of the toughest decisions she had to make. GMA was her home for 15 years and she has nothing but good memories with them, but felt that it was time to make new memories in a new home. The daughter of Action King Fernando Poe Jr said that she feels like her dad is smiling down at her and felt sure that he is happy with her decision.

As for her dream role, she hopes to do more romantic comedies since her former roles were more on the sensual side. She also teased about maybe doing more action roles and maybe a lady Panday. Lovi said she is looking forward to meeting and maybe working with Coco Martin and is very open to being part of Ang Probinsyano.

Lovi will be flying off to Hollywood next month to film “Chelsea Cowboy” where she will be playing the English singer/songwriter Dana Gillespie opposite Alex Pettyfer and Poppy Delevingne.
