My inspirational message: Realities of life

By Lorna Ramirez

Just a simple, gentle squeeze on your hand from someone you love, can mean a thousand things. A wonderful token of love, affection, care, understanding, support and much more. It can be easily felt within your heart, a simple gesture, yet stronger and powerful, than any spoken words.

I do believe, it’s not only saying “I love you,” but it’s all about caring and even doing sacrifices if needed for someone you love.

Love for me is the essence of what life is all about, happy are those who are surrounded with loved ones; faithful friends, and most of all loving families. These are the very people who will always be there for you regardless of what you are.

Of course it is not always easy for us to make choices, at times we falter along the way. People will despise, criticise, but you can still manage to be strong. You know there are those who believe in you. They are the reason for your inspiration to fight back until you can achieve your dreams and goals in life.

However there are those who are consumed by success, forgetting where they started. When everything had been taken away from them, they realised who their real friends are. They sought out the loving arms of their families.

We don’t have to please everyone, there are people who won’t appreciate you no matter what you do. Instead, concentrate more on those who love and care for you. They will always be there for you, thus making your journey easier and more meaningful.

My Innermost Thoughts - Lorna RYou can read more of my inspirational messages from my two books. My Innermost Thoughts is a compilation of my poems, wisdoms, and beliefs. My Passion My Calling is a memoir, encompassing my journey as an author.

An excerpt from My Innermost Thoughts: “Why would I want all the wealth in the world? Why would I want all the fame and glory, where I don’t know who are my real friends and enemies? Yes it’s true, there are those who have both fame and glory, yet they don’t have the peace within themselves. Out of desperation, their only way is to drown in drugs and alcohol, and then find themselves more confused, that will lead them to self-destruction and even death. I don’t envy them. I think as long as I have enough to live, surrounded with people I love and trust. I feel I am the luckiest person on earth.”

The book MY INNERMOST THOUGHTS can be purchased via Amazon and Booktopia, both in physical and digital. It can also be downloaded through Google, Ebay, Barnes and Noble.

If you want a physical signed copy of the book please email the author on trvibat@iprimus.com.au.
