Nes$@: New artist to watch out for

Melbourne should watch out for the up and coming Filo singer Nes$@, or Vanessa Skrypczak. Currently 16 years old, Nes$@ writes original music, even as she develops her singing and dancing skills. Her dancing can be described as a combination of robotic movements and martial arts.

Nes$@’s singing prowess has also been recognised by a number of award-giving bodies. She was Kool Skools Awards Best Female Vocalist and Best Pop Track “Bass Pumpkin” (her second original composition), first prize winner Mulwala Ski Club’s Got Talent, and second prize winner of the 2011 Gintong Talent Quest.

She first wrote her song called “ Mister Right Guy” in 2010 and got nominated that year for best hip/hop RnB track. Last July 2011, Nes$@ was offered to do the UNCOVERED project from Empire Records. This project included making a music video for her winning piece “Bass Pumpin”. Watch her video via http://youtube/MFP6QM7luVM.
