“Pangako Sa’yo” airs on TFC next week

The Filipino Channel’s (TFC) highly anticipated drama series “Pangako Sa’yo” is set to tell one of the greatest love stories about romance, promises, and broken vows on Monday, 25 May as it makes a grand return, worldwide, starring the reigning love team of the new generation Kathryn Bernado and Daniel Padilla.

Joining Bernardo and Padilla in the remake masterpiece are three of the most talented actors in the industry Angelica Panganiban, Ian Veneracion, and Jodi Sta. Maria.

Helmed by three of the best directors in the country Rory Quintos, Dado Lumibao, and Olivia Lamasan, the story of “Pangako Sa’yo” revolves around the promise made to each other by a cook named Amor (Sta. Maria) and a young man who grew up in a wealthy family named Eduardo (Veneracion). Because of his family’s protest against their relationship, Eduardo is forced to leave the woman he loves the most and marry the woman his mother has chosen for him, Claudia (Panganiban).

After many years, fate and love will test Eduardo and Claudia’s son Angelo (Padilla) as he faces the same fate as his father’s when he meets and falls in love with a simple young woman named Yna (Bernardo).

How will a vow change the lives of Eduardo, Amor, Claudia, Angelo, and Yna? Will their heart fall out of love because of each other’s broken promises?

First aired in 2000, “Pangako Sa’yo” changed the history of Philippine television not only as the first teleserye in the Philippines, but also the first ever Pinoy teleserye to conquer and make waves around the world. It has gained high popularity around the world because of its airing via TFC as well as its distribution in almost 20 countries across the world.

Do not miss the return of the classic Filipino love story on television, “Pangako Sa’yo,” on May 25, Monday (May 26, Tuesday AEST, NZDT, Guam, and Japan time) on TFC worldwide. Worldwide viewers can also watch the historical remake via livestream on TFC’s official online service, TFC.tv.
