Fiesta Kultura is Australia’s largest Filipino cultural festival. “Sugod Sydney” is this year’s theme as it will feature a live show of the Philippine longest-running television variety show Eat Bulaga! Main trio hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon who will be joined by 15 other celebrities will entertain attendees with much fun and laughs. This Coral celebration of PASC Inc. will follow a new format where the number of food and dry goods stalls will be reduced to give more space features to community organisations to promote respective services and causes.
Kamayan at Kwentuhan, formerly known as ‘Boodle Fight’ will give attendees time to connect and build camaraderie. This food experience is a traditional Filipino communal feast where a generous spread of food, often grilled or fried, is served on banana leaves and eaten by hand. This format will highlight regional dishes including Bicol Express, Chicken Inasal from Visayas and Pinakbet from Ilocos. Trade and tourism exposures, live DJ, vibrant sights and sounds, games, rides and prize giveaways will also be expected treats during this celebration.
