Philippine Hip-Hop Sensation Hev Abi Announces Inaugural Australia and New Zealand Tour

September 10 – 24, 2024 | Produced by MAS Presents and TMP Industries

June 29, 2024 – MAS Presents and TMP Industries have announced the first-ever concert tour of Australia and New Zealand by Philippine hip-hop music star Hev Abi, taking place from September 10-24, 2024. This historic tour marks a significant milestone as Hev Abi, the first major Filipino artist to hit one billion streams on Spotify, takes his ground-breaking music to new international heights.

Hev Abi, a next-generation trailblazer in the global hip-hop scene, has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique sound and powerful lyrics. His innovative approach to music has not only earned him the prestigious title of the first Filipino artist to reach one billion streams on Spotify but has also solidified his place as a cultural icon.

This tour is a celebration of Filipino talent and cultural diversity. Hev Abi’s journey to a billion streams on Spotify represents a monumental achievement for Filipino artists. He sold out his first-ever solo concert at the Frontier Theatre in the Philippines last April. His music, which fuses traditional Filipino sounds with contemporary hip-hop, resonates with a universal audience, breaking barriers and bringing people together through the power of music.

“I’m very excited to bring my music to global stages, starting in Australia and New Zealand couldn’t be more perfect. I feel like all artists dream of touring around the world, so I’m also very excited for this personal milestone. I can’t wait to meet everyone there and celebrate Filipino hip-hop worldwide,” Hev Abi said in a statement.

MAS Presents hip-hop impresario and promoter Marco Selorio wants the Filipino community to get behind Hev Abi.

“Touring with Hev Abi, the number 1 hip-hop artist from the Philippines, is an electrifying experience! Filipino-Australians cannot miss this historic tour across Australia and New Zealand this September. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to celebrate our culture, our music, and our unstoppable rise on the global stage. Be there to witness history in the making,” Selorio sa

TMP Industries and MAS Presents are committed to promoting and celebrating diverse musical talents across the globe. These visionary companies continue to push the boundaries of the entertainment industry, bringing innovative and culturally significant performances to international audiences.
