Meanwhile, singer Limuel Llanes shared in a recent Facebook post that Baldivino suffered a hemorrhagic mild stroke last December 4 and underwent an operation.

Llanes wrote: “Sa aming mga kakilala, kaibigan at kapamilya, kumakatok po kami sa inyong mabubuting puso, para po humingi ng tulong financial at prayers para sa aking mahal na kaibigan na si Jovit Baldivino, as he suffers from hemorrhagic mild stroke last dec 04. He went through successful operation and trying to fight his life under coma. On behalf of his family and love ones, I stand for my good friend to extend his life.”

Jovit rose to fame after becoming the first “Pilipinas Got Talent” winner in 2010.

Jovit last appeared on television via the reality game show “Family Feud” a few days ago.

Baldivino was born on October 16, 1993. Originally from Batangas, he came from a poor family. To support his studies and help his family, he sold siomai at a market after school. It was for the same reason that he joined Pilipinas Got Talent’s first season. Having won the prize of two million pesos, he said, he would be able to fulfill his dream.

Baldivino studied Criminology at Batangas State University. He wanted to be a lawyer just like his uncle.

It was in July 2016 when his daughter with ex-girlfriend Shara Chavez was born.

Jovit Baldivino’s hit tracks “Pusong Bato” and “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin” resurfaced in October 2020 and gained a lot of media attention. The songs were then mashups with K-pop songs such as “Psycho”, “What Is Love?“, “Ice Cream”, and “Dynamite” by Red Velvet, TWICE, Blackpink, and BTS. The remixes were very popular among Filipino netizens because Baldivino’s verses and choruses perfectly complemented the other songs’ parts, but they were also hilarious because of the way they were combined.
