Pooh promises new materials, big time laughter

It will definitely a fun day, said Filipino comedian, Pooh as the Komedi Bar brings Pooh Australia Tour 2014 on 1 and 2 March 2014 at Club Italia Sporting Club in Sunshine and Village Green Hotel in Mulgrave, respectively. The show is produced by Liz Honey Promotions and Entertainment, in cooperation with Philippine Tours.

“I will be showing a new material and skit. I also have with me great comedians, Kiray, Ace and Super Tekla. There are new acts that you will see,” Pooh told The Philippine Times. Pooh became a hit when he impersonated Filipino boxer and congressman Manny Pacquiao.

Pooh held a successful comedy show in Melbourne four years ago. If he tickled the funny bones of his Filo audience four years ago, he is coming back with fresher and funnier materials. “They need to watch the show because I can assure them that they will enjoy the show, and they will go home with a big smile,” he added.

Reynold Garcia in real life, Pooh hails from Samar, Philippines. His funny antics were greatly sharpened when he joined Channel 2‘s comedy gag show, Banana Split. In 2006 and 2007, he was awarded best male stand up comedian during the Aliw Award.

Pooh just finished his Australian leg tour in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
