Power OPM couple to grace Melbourne stage

Prepare to be captivated by the exceptional talents of two of the most celebrated figures in the Filipino music industry – Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza. With illustrious careers spanning decades, both artists have left an indelible mark on the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) landscape and have garnered immense acclaim for their contributions.

Dingdong Avanzado hailed as an outstanding concert performer and an icon of Philippine pop music, has graced audiences with his soulful voice and electrifying stage presence. His musical journey embodies versatility, enthralling fans with heartfelt ballads and upbeat anthems. Beyond his chart-topping hits, Dingdong’s commitment to his craft and ability to connect with audiences on a profound level has solidified his place as a true icon in Filipino music.

Jessa Zaragoza, known as the ‘Phenomenal Diva’ and the ‘Jukebox Queen of the 90s’, has become synonymous with timeless melodies and emotive performances. Her powerhouse vocals have made her a beloved figure, with songs resonating deeply within the hearts of music enthusiasts. With a career marked by numerous chart-toppers and an unwavering dedication to her artistry, Jessa continues to captivate audiences with her magnetic stage presence and unwavering talent.

Together, Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza will perform live in Melbourne, and their concert promises an extraordinary showcase of their greatest hits, showcasing the depth and richness of OPM. 

Empowered Pinay Impacting Community (EPIC) Events & Entertainment, composed of Charmaine Domingo, Christina Borromeo and Maria King, proudly presents this mesmerizing couple in ‘Sa Aking Puso Australian Tour’ on 24 February at the Melbourne City Conference Centre, 333 Swanston Street, Melbourne VIC. Doors will open at 5 pm, allowing attendees to enjoy drinks and snacks available for purchase at the venue.

Australian Filipino talents, including Jannis, Yvette D, Paola Salvador, and Bryan Yap, share the stage as front acts. Jannis, a 23-year-old nurse born and raised in Melbourne, sings and pens heartfelt lyrics that reflect her unwavering passion for music. On the other hand, Yvette D, a 24-year-old vocalist from Melbourne, discovered her passion for singing at the tender age of 4. Specializing in R&B and soul, she has made a notable impact on the city’s music scene. 

Meanwhile, Paola Salvador has captivated audiences in Singapore, Thailand, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Qatar. She is forging a new path in her career and has released her song entitled “Before I Do” on Spotify. 

Bryan Yap is a versatile Filipino-Australian artist known for his multifaceted acting, presenting and entertainment career. Bryan’s repertoire spans various US and Australian films and TV series, where he has showcased his talents in lead roles in acclaimed musicals.
