Queen of the Melbourne Latin Summer Festival 2015

The Queen of the Melbounre Latin Summer Festival 2015 (QMLSF) Is a competition for young ladies and models wanting to become the face of the Melbourne Latin Summer Festival in Melbourne! This was organised by Estela Tapia of Events Management and participated by Australian born Filipina, Apple Moody, who became one of the finalists in the QMLSF!

The Melbourne Latin Summer Festival is a multicultural themed festival that focuses purely on Latin America’s environmental, economic and social issues that impact Australia and the world. This Festival attracts thousands each year.The Queen of the Melbourne Latin Summer Festival debuted at the Festival last year. For the past two months, organisers have been around the state in search of contestants who have competed in the preliminary round of the QMLSF last Thursday 8 January 2015. The 10 finalists then competed in the Finals last Saturday 10 January with the Queen crowned at the Federation Square.

Last Thursday 8 January, the QMLSF contestants strutted the runway in beautiful garments by Vicoola’ Fashionista and sleepwear by Sleep Couture at the Copacabana International in Fitzroy. They worked with a very established make-up and hair team from Belleza By Carmen.

The QMLSF Preliminaries and Fashion Runway night featured performances andappearances by Jazmin Varlet from X-Factor Australia 2014, Esma Voloder, Miss Globe International 2014 and Global Beauties “Sexiest Woman in Oceania” 2013, Eddie Estrada, Singer and Musical Director, Samantha Rulli, Miss Australia Latina 2011, and DJ El Malo.
