Robin Williams dead at 63

Popular comedic acftor Robin Williams was found unresponsive at his residence in Marin County, California and was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, he hanged himself and died of asphyxiation.

There was also a cut on Williams’ left wrist. A pocket knife with red blood stains was found near its body.

The Oscar-winning actor twice underwent rehab for drug treatment.

On April 30, 1989, he married Marsha Garces, a Filipino-American philanthropist and a former movie producer who worked for him as a nanny, from 1989 to 2008. They have two children, Zelda Rae (25) and Cody Alan (23). In March 2008, Garces filed for divorce from Williams, citing irreconcilable differences.
