1. Relevance to Our Readers

  • Content must be relevant to the audience of Philtimes.com.au, which includes Filipino-Australians and the global Filipino diaspora.
  • Topics should align with the interests and needs of our readers, such as:
    • Migration, settlement, and living in Australia.
    • Education, career, and business opportunities.
    • Filipino culture, traditions, and community events.
    • Lifestyle topics like home and garden, food, travel, technology, health and wellness.
    • Financial and legal advice, investments, and property-related content.
    • News and stories of significance to the Filipino community.

2. Quality of Content

  • Content must be original, unique, and not published elsewhere.
  • Articles should be written in clear and engaging English (or Filipino if agreed upon).
  • Avoid overly promotional language. Instead, focus on informing, educating, or inspiring readers while subtly promoting your product or service.
  • Use a natural integration of keywords without overstuffing.

3. Word Count and Formatting

  • Articles must be between 600 and 1,200 words.
  • Include:
    • A clear and compelling headline.
    • Subheadings for easy navigation.
    • Short paragraphs for improved readability.
    • Bullet points or numbered lists, where appropriate.
    • A call-to-action (CTA) at the end of the article, if necessary.
    • Meta description (up to 160 characters)
    • Focus keyword, if possible

4. Links

  • Sponsored posts may include 1-2 do-follow links:
    • One primary link to your product/service page or homepage.
    • One secondary link to a relevant resource (optional).
  • Links must be contextual and fit naturally into the content.
  • Spammy or overly promotional links will not be accepted.

5. Images and Media

  • You may submit up to 2 high-quality images (minimum 1200px wide).
  • Images must be royalty-free or owned by you, with proper attribution if required.
  • Embedded media (e.g., YouTube videos) can be included upon approval.

6. Prohibited Content

We do not accept content that:

  • Is irrelevant to our readers or lacks value.
  • Promotes gambling, adult, or illegal services/products.
  • Contains hate speech, discriminatory material, or unethical practices.
  • Includes misleading, false, or unverifiable claims.
  • Focuses on overly political or controversial topics.

7. Submission and Review Process

  • Submit your draft in a Word or Google Doc format to ads@philtimes.com.
  • Our editorial team will review your content within 3 business days.
  • We reserve the right to request edits to align content with our standards.
  • Final approval is required before publication.

8. Payment Terms

  • Sponsored posts require full payment before publication.

9. Post-Publication

  • Posts will remain live on Philtimes.com.au for a minimum of 12 months, unless otherwise agreed.
