October 16, 2015 (QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES) – More and more Filipinos of all ages inside and outside the Philippines are catching ABS-CBN’s “On the Wings of Love” (OTWOL) fever brought by the phenomenal love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre or JaDine, seen worldwide via The Filipino Channel (TFC).

Fans worldwide religiously stay glued to their TV screens to catch the developments in the romance between Clark (Reid) and Leah (Lustre) and how are they coping with the challenges that come their way.

Because of the show’s ‘kilig’ factor and appealing story, “OTWOL” has captured the hearts of viewers and has consistently recorded strong ratings in the Philippines since it premiered.  Even in the digital sphere, the “OTWOL” fever is getting stronger.  “OTWOL” is one of the mostly viewed programs on TFC.tv while netizens regularly tweet their reactions about each episode, making #OTWOL a regular trending topic worldwide.

Because the series champions on issues on overseas Filipinos (OFs), Kapamilyas outside the Philippines are more than hooked with the series.  In an interview with “TV Patrol,” Reid recounted that while he and Lustre were in London for their “ASAP20” show, fans were calling them by their character names.

“The OF issues that are featured in the series are based on research because we wanted it to be realistic.  Dreamscape tapped the research team of TFC and we found out that OF issues vary per state in the US,” said executive producer Arnel Nacario.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer also praised the top-rating series for its OF representation and for highlighting the challenges and worries OFs go through.  Praises for “OTWOL” have also flooded director Antoinette Jadaone’s social media accounts.  On Twitter, she recently expressed her gratitude to everyone who sent their positive reactions because of the mix of sweet and heartbreaking scenes.
