UFEA offers emergency food relief for seniors in City of Kingston

By Barbara Price

Unified Filipino Elderly Association, Inc (UFEA) have embarked on a COVID Emergency Food response to the community in the City of Kingston since 3 July.

UFEA volunteers packing the food parcels.

Volunteers have been tirelessly shopping and packing essential foods and distributing each Saturday for a period of one month.

This project was made possible with the support from the Victorian Government and with the donation of reusable shopping bags from Casey Woolworths.

A little cheer for our elderly in a troubled time!
