The strength of all organisations will depend on its members, and this holds true for all Filipino organisations in Victoria and in all states of Australia.

We are not here to outdo or outsmart one another but to help each other.

We are not here to prove we are better from the rest, but instead to use our talents for the benefit of the organisation and its members.

We are here, having a get together once a month with these things in mind: forgetting our daily chores and enjoying camaraderie, dancing, bonding, gorging delicious food and just simply having fun for the day. True, it is quite difficult to understand human minds and emotions, but being aware of this, it can be done.

Of course no one is perfect, however, I need a tap on the shoulder if I am going in the wrong direction. I will also do the same for others.

I believe members should set high ethics and moral values, so the new members will follow the right culture of the clubs.

All disagreements should be settled rationally and maturely.

Transparency is one of the important factors that the organisations should observe.
I just joined one of the Filipino seniors’ organisations in Victoria, and I observed that there were so many of these kinds of organisations. However, I do hope these seniors organisations will help, cooperate, learn from one another and continue serving the community giving joy, amusements, most especially for the senior citizens.

Lastly, as I always mentioned in all my writings, if LOVE, ACCEPTANCE AND TOLERANCE will always reign in our hearts, well, we will be one whole happy family.
