Alwin is keen to talk to fellow Fil-Aussies about how he uses his art as a means to unite people with different ideas, personalities or cultures to achieve a common goal. the helicopter project, he says, is a metaphor and the act of lifting it up is akin to our bayanihan spirit of helping one another.
This event is also in partnership with the Bayanihan Australia Community Network.
The Thuringowa Helicopter Project Exhibition is open from 4 December 2010 to 11 January 2011.
