Victorian Baptist to mark Women’s Prayer Day

baptist women prayer day 2015

The Australian Filipino Community Services (AFCS) in collaboration with Baptist  Churches is inviting everyone to a day of prayer for women on 7-8 November 2015 at the Sydenham Baptist Church and at the Pakenham Baptist Church.

“This is a day of prayer for women as we say NO to family violence and remember that the hand of God is never short to reach out to you. We hope to invite other Baptist women to celebrate women’s lives and pray for others in need,” said Norminda Forteza, AFCS Chaplain.

Rev Meewon Yang, Multicultural Consultant of the Baptist Union of Victoria, and Mrs Ma Theresa Yambao, President of the Philippine Baptist Women Missionary Union, will serve as keynote speakers.

To RSVP and for more information, please contact Norminda on 9701-3421 or Omega Raimundo on mobile 0401-624-074.
